This Body of Mine tells the story of the friendship between Rafael and Carolina. Rafael, a trans man in the process of acceptance and reconciliation with his own body, and Carolina, his unconditional companion, undertake together the search for their square meter of peace in the world.
The film addresses the fascination Dalí always felt for Millet's painting L'Angelus, which motivated him to write a treatise entitled "The Tragic Myth of the Angelus". This was published in France by the publisher Jean-Jacques Pauvert in 1963.
